Welcome to Eden!
The Eden Handicap Service Centre Berhad, also called EHSC or simply Eden for short, is a charitable non-profit Christian-run organisation. Set up in 1991, its mission is to give the disabled the dignity to lead self-sufficient lives in the sight of God. We provide practical training to the disabled to acquire basic skills to support themselves. Our success in the past 19 years has been due to the continuous support from the public, churches, government agencies and regular donors.
This website is put together with help from volunteers in order that you will better understand the services we provide, and how you may be able to better interact with us. Our co-founder, Madelene Tye was awarded the Golden Service Award 2012 by the Governor of Penang during the recent Majlis Dato' Dato' Pulau Pinang for her VOLUNTARY services to Eden Handicap Service Centre through all the years without receiving any payment from the Centre. We are PROUD OF YOU. Thank for your selfless and sacrifice commitment towards this act of love ... heart to love, hands to serve.
